Bachelorette Ali TV Wedding Already Being Planned By ABC

When Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky found true love with Roberto Martinez, it was the producers of the hit reality show who cried tears of joy.

Whether the couple ends up tying the knot remains to be seen, but the producers are already making plans to televise Ali and Roberto's wedding live on ABC as fast as possible - just to remind the nation that the show is the real deal.

"After the disaster of Jake and Vienna, everyone working on the show is nervous about what another failed romance would do to the show's franchise," a TV insider tells PopEater. "If the public starts believing the 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' are just two more fake reality shows then it is over. The show desperately needs a success story fast in order to keep viewers coming back for the next season."

"Ali and Roberto have to work in order to erase the Jake and Vienna disaster," the source says. "The show would be perfectly happy if we never heard Jake's name ever again. Which is why all its focus is going to be on Ali and Roberto and how happy they really are. Not on the fact that 15 out of 18 couples have broken up after the show wrapped."

Ali and Roberto have also thought about getting married on TV, as Bachelorette Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter did in 2003, while some 17 million viewers watched.

"We're definitely open to that idea," Roberto says. "The money we can save on that we could use to invest in our lives. You know what? It'd be kind of cool to share that moment."
