Kate Major Accuses Michael Lohan of Domestic Violence

Never one to pass up possible media attention, Michael Lohan paid a visit to the TMZ offices for an interview in Los Angeles, CA with his fiance Kate Major in tow hot on the heals of a very public battle with his daughter Lindsay Lohan on April 22, 2010. The night before, the elder Lohan showed up at Lindsay's apartment with law enforcement to check on his youngest daughter Ali Lohan, who had been in her sister's care over the weekend. Following the surprise visit Lindsay took to her Twitter to tell the world just how dysfunctional her relationship with her father is. Lindsay Lohan's father, Michael Lohan is accused of physically assaulting his fiancee, Kate Major, earlier this week.

Former Star reporter and Jon Gosselin's leftovers, Kate Major filed a police report claiming Michael attacked her during an argument.

Kate, 27, claims Michael shoved her over a chair, injuring her shoulder on Monday at around 2 PM, just before he flew to L.A. for Lindsay's hearing. He allegedly kicked her in the face while she was on the ground, an insider claims. Kate also claims she went to the hospital and has pictures of her injuries.

Contacted by TMZ, Michael admitted that he got in an argument with Kate over their upcoming TV show, but he didn't touch her and she's making it all up.

Lindsay started her time behind bars on Tuesday in a Lynwood, California, jail. The actress is expected to receive a get out of a jail free card after serving 14 days of her 90 day jail sentence.
