Bobby Spillane Mobster Mickey Spillane's Son Dies

Bobby Spillane, a small-time actor and son of infamous mobster Mickey Spillane, died today after falling from the sixth floor of his Hell's Kitchen apartment in New York. He was 45.

Robert "Bobby" Spillane was discovered by his brother on the sidewalk outside his apartment building. According to TMZ, foul play is not suspected.

Spillane had guest roles on "Law & Order" and "Rescue Me" and wrote an Off-Broadway play called "All Dolled Up" about a real-life cross-dressing gangster.

Spillane is survived by his wife Heather. His father, Mickey, was gunned down in 1977.
