Saved by the Bell star Mark-Paul Gosselaar, 36, and his wife Lisa Ann Russell, 38, are separating after 14 years of marriage.

"They both remain focused on their family and are jointly committed to their children," his rep tells PEOPLE.

Gosselaar first met Lisa Ann Russell after she guest-starred on 'Saved by the Bell: The College Years.' They have two children, Michael Charles, 6, and Ava Lorenn, 4.
