Model Kamilla Wladyka was so skinny that her image was airbrushed to look healthier on the cover of April's Healthy Magazine, the Daily Mail reports.

Jane Druker, editor of Healthy magazine, said Wladyka appeared fine during casting but looked shockingly thin on the day of the photo session a week later.

"There were plenty of clothes that we couldn't put on her because her bones stuck out too much,' Miss Druker said. "She looked beautiful in the face, but really thin and unwell. That's not a reflection of what we do in our magazine, which is about good health."

Wladyka's image was enhanced to make her appear two to three stones heavier, a source said.

The magazine has come under fire for manipulating the models' body shape. English television personality and fashion model, Jodie Kidd said: "Re-touching for little blemishes is fine, but putting weight on, taking weight off, that goes too far."

"That girl probably should have been sent home from the shoot," Eleni Renton of Leni's Model Management said.

According to her profile, Wladyka is a size 6, with a 24 inch waist. See her photos below.
