Former Miss Russia, Anna Malova was arrested in New York for illegal possession of drugs.

Anna Malova was charged with criminal possession of narcotics, forgery and illegal impersonation of a physician, on May 19, Wednesday. According to reports, Malova stole a prescription pad from her doctor and wrote out phony prescriptions for painkillers.

Malova, 38, is a practicing doctor in Russia but she does not have a license to practice in the United States. She was arrested on similar charges three months ago.

She, a Miss Universe semi-finalist, was crowned Miss Russia in 1998.
