Matt Lauer Cheating Scandal, Leaves Wife Annette Roque

According to The National Enquirer, The TODAY Show host Matt Lauer has walked out on his wife , model Annette Roque, due to a cheating scandal that has rocked their marriage.

"I heard he and Annette are breaking up. I was not shocked to hear that. But it's very sad," Lauer's ex-wife Nancy Alspaugh tells the magazine.

Matt and Annette have been married for more than twelve years. They have three young daughters - Jack, 8, and Romy, 6 and Thijs, 2.

Matt and Annette have gone through some rocky times in the past. The couple filed for divorce back in 2006 while Roque was pregnant. They later reconciled and withdrew the divorce petition after one month. The separation was fueled by rumors that Matt had carried on an affair with a married 26 year old just months before their wedding.

According to an insider, the couple has been living apart for two months, and Annette is no longer wearing her wedding ring.

Being faithful to your better half seems to be a thing of the past. Sad.
