Miss USA 2010 Contestants Photos : Too Sexy?

The promotional photos of the Miss USA 2010 contestants are causing quite a stir.

The sexy black and white photos - featuring the Miss USA pageant contestants in skimpy lingerie and seductive poses - have been deemed too risqué by fans.

The contestants, most of them in their early 20s, posed in bed in various stages of undress, leaving ball gowns and tiaras behind.

According to TMZ, Pageant officials have been getting angry phone calls from public complaining about the controversial photos.

A representative for Miss USA defends the photos telling TMZ that they consider the images "tasteful."

"You can have brains and be smart and still be sexy," the rep said

Miss USA 2010 takes place at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas next weekend. It will air May 16 at 7 pm on NBC.
