Kim Kardashian Abused by Ex-Husband Damon Thomas

According to court documents - which were filed at LA Superior Court in 2003 - Kim Kardashian was abused in her marriage to music producer Damon Thomas.

Reality TV star Kim eloped with Damon Thomas in 2000 when she was 19 or 20 years old. The two endured a messy divorce four years later.

According to the explosive court papers, obtained by Star Magazine, Thomas started hitting her just a few months after they were married.

In the court documents, Kim claims "her husband flew into jealous rages, punched her, threatened her life and instructed her to get plastic surgery to improve her body."

One terrible incident Kim recalls occurred the day they were supposed to be taking a fun trip skydiving with Justin Timberlake. "Before we left our home, Damon hit me in the face and cut my lip open," Kim claims. "I fell into the bed frame and banged my knee hard. I was limping when we went skydiving."

Thomas even forced Kim to quit jobs and college, poisoned her mind against her own family and would not let her see her friends, the papers claim.

At the time of their quickie Vegas wedding she was working as a sales girl at a Los Angeles shop called Body, but her new husband soon made her quit the job. He wanted her at his beck and call - and even demanded that she cook him food when he arrived home at 4.30am.

Their marriage was officially dissolved in February 2004 and Thomas was ordered to give Kim a one-off payment of $56,000.
