Video: Heroic dog leads police to fire!

Check out this video of Buddy, a German Shepherd dog leading police through the woods and to his owner's home, which was on fire.

The video was shot on an Alaska state trooper's dashcam. The trooper was on his way to check out a fireball in the area, but his GPS froze up on him, and he was semi-lost in the twisting rural roads. He was about to take a turn in the wrong direction when he saw a dog in the road.

The dog, our hero, Buddy saw the trooper's car and started running back home, but kept looking over his shoulder to make sure the car is keeping up.

Amazing!

Buddy will reportedly be honored for his heroism by Alaska State Troopers.
