Jenny Sanford Dating Georgia Businessman Clay Boardman
Former South Carolina first lady Jenny Sanford is reportedly dating a Georgia businessman named Clay Boardman.
Sanford, whose divorce from Gov. Mark Sanford became final in March, met Boardman a few weeks ago at a dinner party. They were spotted together at the Masters' golf tournament in Augusta last week.
"Yes, it's true," Boardman said, when asked if they were dating, "I will say we are getting along quite well."
Sanford says she and Boardman are "getting along beautifully."
Clay Boardman, a former petroleum executive, is the CEO of a Georgia venture capital firm.
Sanford ended her 20-year marriage to Gov. Mark Sanford in Dec. 2009, after he admitted to an affair with an Argentine woman María Belén Chapur.
