Tammy and Melissa Etheridge Split
Melissa Etheridge and her partner of nearly nine years, Tammy Etheridge, have split up.
"Melissa and Tammy Etheridge are saddened to announce that they are now separated," Melissa's rep told People mag.
"We ask for consideration and respect for our family as we go through this difficult period," the former couple added.
Melissa and Tammy got married in Malibu, California in September 2003. Tammy gave birth to their son Miller and daughter Johnnie Rose. Melissa also has two children, Bailey, 13, and Beckett, 11, with former girlfriend Julie Cypher.
