Adam Lambert 'American Idol' Mentor Next week
Adam Lambert will appear as a guest mentor on the April 13 episode of American Idol, confirms EW.
The "Amrican Idol" season 8 runner up will serve as a mentor to the top 8 Idol aspirants and perform his single "Whataya Want from Me" during the results show on April 14.
There's no official word yet on what theme the contestants will tackle during Lambert's visit.
Lambert will be the first 'Idol' alum to serve as a mentor less than a year after participating as a contestant on the show.
