MSNBC anchor David Shuster has been suspended indefinitely after he taped a pilot for CNN in violation of his contract.

It was revealed last week that Shuster had filmed a pilot for for the competing network.

"David has been suspended indefinitely," an NBC spokesperson confirmed this morning.

His contract is set to expire at the end of this year.

During the 2008 presidential race, Shuster was suspended for two weeks over a comment that the Hillary Clinton campaign was "pimping out" Chelsea Clinton.
