No Wedding Cake for Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher!
Singer Carrie Underwood and NHL player Mike Fisher are planning a very traditional wedding, except when it comes to the wedding cake ... turns out they won't even have one!
"We're kind of doing cupcakes," she says. "I consider myself a very traditional person -- and more than anything we're getting married and that's the important part -- but we want everyone to have a good time so we're doing some things like that that are a little different."
So much for tradtition.
The bride-to-be is ordering the cupcakes from IveyCake in Franklin, Tenn. Ivey "makes the most amazing cupcakes in the universe," Underwood says.
The country singer and hockey player Mike Fisher are engaged to be married this summer. They have not set a date for the wedding.
