A former teen beauty queen who appeared on the ABC's 'Wife Swap' two years ago is suing the network for $100 million, claiming that the show ruined her life by staging scenes to make her look like a spoiled brat.

Alicia Guastafarro, the winner of Little Miss Buffalo pageant 2000, appeared with her family on an episode of the spouse-swapping show when she was 15.

Guastafarro, now 18, claims she was subject to "incessant verbal and physical assaults from her peers" after her appearance on the show. She said many of her scenes were scripted to portray her in a negative light. She was instructed to pretend to get a "Christmas present" every morning and to recite lines such as "I am the most popular girl in school," and "I do feel sorry for people that are not gorgeous people."

Guastafarro said she received so much "ridicule, mockery and derision", she had to finish high school in a special program.

"For their own profit, defendants purposefully, intentionally and knowingly caused severe emotional and psychological harm to a fragile 15-year-old," the suit reads.

Here's a tip to save yourself from being a laughing stock of TV - don't go on a reality show!
