The top 11 contestants on American Idol performed Billboard #1 hits tonight. Michael Lynche sang "When A Man Loves A Woman," by Percy Sledge.

Randy said, "I don't know if it was the perfect song choice, but I loved it."

Ellen said it was a safe choice but "this woman loves that man... you have an amazing tone."

Kara thought it was "boring and loungey" and had too many riffs.

Simon agreed with Kara and said, "It's like you asked for one scoop of ice cream and got eleven...You've got tons of charisma and people love you."

Miley Cyrus was a guest mentor on Idol tonight. (No, I'm not joking.)

Miley will perform her latest hit "When I Look At You" on Wednesday's results show while new couple Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato will duet on "Make A Wave."
