Kate Winslet Sam Mendes Split
"Titanic" star Kate Winslet has split from her husband, director Sam Mendes after nearly seven years of marriage. The 34-year-old Oscar-winning actress separated from Mendes earlier this year.
A rep for the couple released a statement saying, "They are saddened to announce they separated earlier this year. The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children."
The couple married in 2003 and have a six-year-old son, Joe, together. Kate also has a nine-year-old daughter, Mia, from a previous marriage.
