Don't know who Maxwell is but This Woman's Work is one of my all-tiome favorite songs, as written and performed by Kate Bush.  Big Mike did a great job, I loved his version.  But nothing beats Kate Bush so please give credit where credit is due.  If you want to be moved to tears, just check out the movie "She's Having a Baby" with Kevin Bacon.

Even Randy Jackson gave credit to Maxwell. Did he do a version of the song himslef?  Like I said, I don't know who he is but maybe that is where the confusions stems from?

British singer Kate Bush wrote this song and was the original singer. In 1997, R&B musician Maxwell covered the song for the release of his album MTV Unplugged. Maxwell later re-recorded and released the song as the second single of his 2001 album Now. I heard Kate's version after Maxwell came out with his. Maxwell's version is amazing, flawless, Kate’s authentic and beautiful.

Michael sang that song. Kate Bush version ws great as well but the one he sang was Maxwell's version and I tell you that song moved me.

I agree 100% Antonio and I have a new appreciation for that version after hearing him sing it again last night.
