Padma Lakshmi Welcomes Baby Krishna, Adam Dell Baby's Father?

Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world late Saturday night.

"Model, author and Emmy-nominated host of Top Chef Padma Lakshmi gave birth to a baby girl named Krishna Thea Lakshmi on Saturday," her rep tells. "Mother and baby are well and happy."

This is the first child for the 39-year-old model and TV star. She announced her pregnancy in October. Given that Lakshmi has suffered for years with endometriosis, the pregnancy was described by her doctor as "nothing short of a medical miracle."

Lakshmi has still not made the identity of the father public. There's speculation that the daddy is Adam Dell, a venture capitalist who teaches at Columbia Business School in NYC. He is also the younger brother of billionaire Michael Dell, of Dell computers.
