The top 24 finalists has finally been chosen for 2010's American Idol season 9. Meet 24 singers who are about to become household names. (photos below).

Andrew Garcia, the Los Angeles stylist did an acoustic version of Paula Abdul's "Straight Up."

According to a Hollywood Week contestant Samantha Musa, Chris GoLightly was disqualified, "after already being told he was in the top 24, over some Old contract." The curly haired shoe salesman from Los Angeles was shown near the end of the show, when Ryan Seacrest was standing on the stage with the top 24 finalists, but in the ending dance sequence, 20-year-old college student Tim Urban was among the 12 male finalists.
