I am really bummed that Jake didn't stop Ali from leaving.  Wouldn't it have been a great show if he had said Ali was his pick (I think a great match all round) and send the other three packing (too much baggage).  Oh well Jake I'm disallusioned in you and your whole process of choosing the woman for you.  what a great finale to have the bachelor make his choice without all the hoopla of more one-on-one dates, to add to the confusion.... too many choices and too much intimacy causes too much confusion.  Jake take it from me .... be your own person and go with your heart.  I think it would lead you to Ali.  You two have a  great charisma goin on there.  Don't let her get away!

I am really hoping that this spoiler is all wrong and that Vienna does not win! I absolutely love Ali and Tenley... However, as far as Ali for next Bachelorette... I think she could be good, But I feel that she made the choice to leave the show, so what says she'll be committed with her next chance. If Vienna does win, I think that Tenley would be best choice for the next Bachelorette. She his beautiful, real, honest, sweet, down to earth and such a romantic. She deserves a real chance at happiness. If Jake doesn't pick her... I hope he regrets it and I hope that she finds someone as real and true as she is.

I believe Ali will be the next bachelorrete, regardless if Reality Steve said it or not.  I could see that coming as soon as I saw the previews the week before she "left" for her job.  I believe in every season, they put in a "plant" and they do everything they can to make the public love them, then they send them home early, then they bring them back to the the next seasons bachelor or bachelorette.  Personally, I liked Ali from the start, but after watching more, I would rather see Gia come back as bachelorette and find happiness.

I want Gia to be the next bachelorette. I think she's so much more sweet and loving than Ali is. I don't like Ali. She was so annoying always picking on Vienna and trying to cause drama. I think the last 3 bachelorettes have been fro mprevious  shows. She is a phony b****. I won't watch Ali. I wasn't that interested in the last bachelorette. It feels like more situations are being set up and staged and getting tackier people on the show. BORING!

I like Ali, I think she was a bit of a witch at times, but given the situation she was in it's COMPLETELY understandable. I kind of like what they are doing with the "recycling." Someone doesn't win, they might get to have the next show. It's a way of letting the potential daters see what that person is like in an intimate relationship. Plus that way the bachelor/ette knows what the others are going through. It helps. I'm not sure if Ali is the right choice for the next season, but I will probably watch either way. BTW I was on the ship when they were filming the latest reunion that is going to air this Monday.  OMG, did seeing the filming in action really put the show into perspective.  I will say that of that group, the ONLY guy who was genuine and down-to-earth was Robbie from TX.  Other than him it was like being in college and witnessing a frat party.

My initial inclination is no Ali should not be the next bachlorette.  She was overly catty to Vienna (for no apparent reason - only jealousy/pettiness), but also she was overly dramatic when deciding whether to leave for her job, and it felt like the job scenario was so she could become the next bachlorette.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! Ali was a horrible person that not only made Vienna's life miserable unjustifiably but managed to suck others into her vicious web to help do her dirty work for her. If she couldn't have the time off of work to be a bachelorette for Jake why would her work give her even more time off to be the next bachelorette? Which leads me to my next thought on Ali... I believe her need to leave was all an act. I do not believe her work gave her an ultimatum, in fact I think she was attempting to trick Jake into an ultimatum of, "commit to me that you will pick me and I'll stay, if you don't I'll leave."  She basically said it in the women tell all. She said she expected him to fly to her and come get her. I think it was a planned out scheme that back fired on her. I think she saw what happened with Jillian and Ed and thought "not a bad idea, I think I'll try something like that", only it didn't work out the same.
Please pick someone MORE DESERVING AND GENUINE, pick Gia! She's beautiful both inside and out and way more deserving for a chance at love!

I think Ali is a fake and I can't believe so many people were fooled by the horrible acting job she did trying to get Jake to tell her to stay and then later when she tried to get her to take her back.  I think she's plotting to be the next bachelorette but if she gets it, this will be the first season I won't watch.  

That said, I at least like the way she behaved on the tell all show.  A little redemption for her behavior during the show, but not enough for me to believe she wasn't acting at the end.

I have to say after my post last night I've thought about it some more and if Ali is picked to be the bachelorette I will not watch.  I'm hoping the rumors are true that Jake picked Vienna because she is way more sincere and honest than most of the women that were on that show.  Tenley is whiny and needed and will never trust Jake with all the time he will spend gone due to his work.  Her first husband cheated on her and that was not that long ago - she's not over that.  Jake will become a victim.  Vienna has gotten the raw end of the stick and it's mostly because of Ali's jealousness and caddiness.  Ali is the kind of girl in the office that sets out to get all the other women fired if they are cute or threatening in any way to her.  She only cares about herself and her job and Jake would have fallen to second place if that in her life and so will any man.  I can not believe how many people out there are blinded by her and like her.  She's a snake and I think for the first time in her life she got to see herself for real and even knows it herself now.  I pity any man or woman who crosses her path the wrong way.  We only saw a glimpse of what she is capable of.

If the only choice there is that it seems a must that a returning gal is to be brought in to be the Bachelorette it should be Gia. She has class and showed maturity to not gang up with other insecure women.  
Too many that write on these comment boards are mesmorized by the way someone's appearance is on the outside. Very superfacial chosing when they think Ali is so real.  She is real of being a scheming attention getter and making others do the dirty work for her.
The best choice for the next season is someone totally new.  Give other unique personalities some time to be on TV. It gets boring to have the same as we have in the REAL world. It's easy to find a gal like Ali (cute faced but crabby natured) in a crowd of people, hard to find someone like Gia, Vienna or even Michelle that do not use other insecure people to do some nasty things to others. I think that without any of those three mentioned the show would have been pretty boring to say the least.

I have to say I like bringing people back for a try of their own but I think if you could just play match maker Gia should be fixed up with the guy from Jillian's season that did all the charity work and did all the stuff for kids.  That would be a match of two people who are truly beautiful.  Not physically but spiritually, mentally, personally.  Obviously everyone that gets chosen to be on the bachelor or bachelorette are attractive and beautiful physically but not many are as beautiful as those two when it comes to being a real person!  Many are like Ali and Tenley, coniving, mean, back stabbing, malicious, etc.  I agree with Mike above that the show would have been boring without Gia, Vienna, etc.  I also agree with Sharon about Tenley, her alliance with Ali shows what type of person she really is as well.  Go Vienna - steal Jakes heart and abc PLEASE DO NOT BRING BACK ALI OR TENLEY!!!  I will not watch if either are the next bachelorette!

She's a shallow fake, and I have zero interest in whether she "finds love." (Frankly, I doubt she knows the meaning of the word.) I would have watched Gia in a heartbeat, and *maybe* even Tenley, but Ali is just too obviously looking only for her 15 minutes. Too bad she doesn't realize that she's already had it!

 Why reward someone for being cruel?  It sets a bad example in this world and to other young women that it is all right to be nasty and not only can one get away with it but be rewarded too.  
I am surprised, I thought the producers at ABC would be smarter.  But I don't think they have chosen someone like this before.   Ali is pretty and charming and that can fool some people.   I will not be watching.  
Thankfully my daughter did not like her conduct either and was shocked at the needlessly mean things she said.  At school even though she was one of the pretty popular girls she always stood against any cruelty to other kids.
If you are a man who is interested in Ali, how do you think she is going to bring up your kids, and treat you when things are tough?

I will not be watching the new Bachelorette season. I can not believe that the producers think bringing back the bitchiest, most manipulative, posturing woman from last season is something people want to watch. I have no idea why people are saying she's "america's sweetheart"..what kind of sick, skewed values do these people have? Tenley and Gia and Vienna are sweethearts, they have real feelings and aren't out there to put other people down. I want to see people that really want love and are deserving of love on the show, I guess so I can live vicariously through them. If I have to listen to a bitch and deal with drama I might as well be at work-at least I'll be getting paid. Plus, knowing that she works for facebook, and that they must be supporting all of this, my opinion of that company has gone down. Not good PR.
