Reese Witherspoon is back in the dating saddle!

The newly-single actress was spotted on a romantic date last Thursday with Jim Toth, an agent at Hollywood's powerful Creative Artists Agency.

The couple shared dinner at Santa Monica's Italian eatery Locanda Portofino and according to onlookers, "they were very flirtatious throughout dinner!"

"They were having a lot of fun, totally getting along and laughing and talking the whole dinner. Reese seemed very happy. She was smiling all dinner. The mood was upbeat and really good," says a fellow diner.

After the nearly two-hour meal, the couple walked outside and shared an intimate hug. "Reese reached around his neck and pulled him close for a hug," says the onlooker. "They kissed bye on the cheek - but it was a very friendly goodbye."

The Legally Blonde star, 33, split from long time boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal late last year.
