Jason Castro Weds Mandy Mayhall (Pictures)
Former American Idol contestant Jason Castro married his girlfriend Mandy Mayhall in his hometown near Dallas, Texas on Saturday.
The 22-year-old singer, who finished fourth on Season 7 of American Idol, took to his Twitter to announce his wedding.
"Yesterday I married the girl of my dreams," he tweeteed. "It couldn't have been more perfect! Now, honeymoooon!!! :)"
The couple confirmed their engagement in November. On Jan. 12, Castro will release The Love Uncompromised EP on Atlantic Records, followed by a full-length album in the spring. He'll kick off a tour later this month.
Congrats to the newlyweds!
