Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift have reportedly split up after dating for only three months.

A source close to Swift says the couple decided to pull the plug on their romance because "It wasn't really developing into anything, and wasn't going to, so they decided they were better as friends. There was no chemistry."

The two Taylors first met on the set of the star-studded romantic comedy Valentine's Day this past fall and were spotted out on several dates together.

However, the relationship went downhill when Lautner, 17, flew to Nashville for Swift's birthday party on Dec. 13.

"He liked her more than she liked him," a friend of the singer reveals. "He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn't travel much to see him."

"They plan to stay friends," the source added.

The split sounds amicable, so don't expect any breakup song from Taylor Swift.

me totaly i would treat him right and love him and treat him right even though i already said that but it is true i know it sounds corny but he deserves someone that will love him like he loved taylor swift
