Carrie Underwood and Ottawa Senator hockey player Mike Fisher are engaged!

Mike Fisher confirmed the news at a press conference Monday. He said he popped the question Sunday.

"It's true," he said. "We're both obviously excited and very happy."

The couple has been dating quietly for a year.
