Tiger Woods mother-in-law Barbro Holmberg [photo above] was rushed to a hospital early Tuesday morning from Tiger's home by fire department medics, reports NBC News.

Officials from Health Central Hospital confirm Barbro Holmberg, Elin Nordegren's mom, was rushed to the hospital after complaining of stomach pains. Holmberg is said to be in stable condition.

Nordegren arrived at the hospital shortly after the ambulance. There has been no sign of Woods.

Holmberg, a prominent Swedish politician, arrived in the US last Friday. According to Swedish media reports, Holmberg abruptly cancelled all her schedules and traveled to the States to be by her daughter's side following the Tiger Woods crash and mistress scandal.
