White House Party Crashers Tareq & Michaele Salahi on TODAY Show
The White House party crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi appeared on the TODAY Show Tuesday.
Speaking to TODAY's Matt Lauer, Tareq Salahi and his wife Michaele denied crashing Tuesday night's state dinner at the White House and insisted they were actually invited.
"We're greatly saddened by all the circumstances ... portraying my wife and I as party crashers. I can tell you we did not party-crash the White House," Tareq Salahi said.
Tareq and Michaele Salahi, the aspiring members of the cast of a reality show called "The Real Housewives of DC," managed to slip into the star-studded state dinner at the White House on November 24, even though they were not on the guest list.
The Salahis have been called to testify at the House Committee on Homeland Security Thursday along with representatives of the Secret Service.
