TMZ : Tiger Woods Injuries Caused by Wife, Rachel Uchitel Denies Affair

Tiger Woods was involved in a minor car accident early Friday morning that reportedly left him with facial lacerations.

As the story continues to unfold, a sensational new report claim that the car accident was not the cause of his injuries. They were inflicted by his wife, Elin Nordegren.

According to TMZ, his wife, Elin Nordegren, had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman.

The argument got heated and Elin scratched up Tiger's face. At that point, Tiger retreated to his SUV but Elin followed behind with a golf club.

As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club. He looked to see what had happened. At that point the SUV hit the fire hydrant and then hit a tree.

Earlier reports claimed, Woods' wife smashed out the SUV's back window with a golf club to get into the vehicle and pull him out.

Meanwhile, TMZ spoke with Rachel Uchitel (pictured below), the woman the National Enquirer named as Tiger's mistress. She says she has met Tiger before, but has never slept with him. She claims the "sources" that spoke to the Enquirer were each paid $25,000 for their story.
