Dancing With The Stars Season 9 Winner Donny Osmond
Donny Osmond and his partner Kym Johnson were crowned the winners of Dancing with the Stars Season 9 on Tuesday night at the end of a two-hour season finale.
The celebs took to the dance floor one last time at the finale. The judges ranked the contestants based on those dances, putting Donny in first place with a 30, Mya in second with 28 and Kelly in third with 26.
Kelly Osbourne ended up in third place after the scores were combined with the viewers' votes. The finale was filled with excitement, shock and even disappointment for some as the queen of the ballroom throughout the season, Mya was awarded the second place.
"We are so happy to come this far...we had the time of our lives," Mya said.
Donnie brought his wife and his sister Marie on stage, after he was announced the winner of the mirrorball trophy.
The finale featured a performance by pop diva Whitney Houston who sang "I Wanna Dance With Somebody". All of the eliminated celebs returned to the dance floor to dance one more time.
