I cannot understand what happened to you.  That performance was disgusting.  I have always thought you were perfect in every way. I don't now. You don't sing as well as I thought you did. I'm no longer your fan.

I loved the performance and don't understand why everyone thought the performance was aweful. First he let you know that it was going to be kinky and scadefully, second its adam and if you had followed him at all over idol and so forth you would have known that he isn't for going down the straight and narrow path. He had the best performance of the night. The only one who didnt sit there  and just sing. Props to Adam for making the show more interesting.

I'm sorry but anyone who says they were a fan and suddenly aren't anymore because they didn't like one performance cannot call themselves a fan. He really can sing as well as you thought - the sound mix on the show was not good and the song is is a tricky one live. Yes, the choreography was over the top, I would have preferred him singing more and gyrating less too. But, I have his album here and it's fantastic. It was perhaps a mis-step as some people were seeing him for the first time and may have been put off. But he's a human being, not a god. Of course he's not perfect, no one is. What he is is an extremely talented, intelligent and refreshing artist and I sincerely hope people rush out and get the album because they are missing a treat if they don't!

Adam was over the top at the AMA Awards and for Prime-time TV. He didn't need to prove anything to anyone.
So what if Madonna and Britney did what they did, Adam doesn't have to stoop to their level on National TV.
He can save it for his tours. Adam is a talented singer and actor, and if he needs to express himself save it for the road.
Last night, it reminded me of a drag-show and wasn't entertaining at all. I believe last night he may have committed career suicide.

So disappointed!!!  I waited and waited to hear the new release and then to see if performed in such a manner was very disappointing.  This may appeal to a small group of fans but Adam has lot a far larger number with this performance.  Too bad!!  But I am old enough to have seen them come and go and this will hurt him.  His career was not established enough to pull this off.  Madonna had been in business a long time before she pulled a stunt like this.  We will see!!!!

Straight people don't stimulate oral sex, tongue kiss a same sex parter, grab dancers crothes, so we do you think it is more approprate because you are gay.

Just saw Adam Lambert of the AMA’s. WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT? I agree with so many others. It was lewd and the whole bondage oral sex stuff is a whole lot different than a kiss between same sex individuals. He did not belong there. Broadway is best he should or could or might do. The performance was not for the younger “kids” at the Kodak….can not imagine ABC even allowed such sexual crap to air. I was so waiting for him to perform. It was nothing short of bad taste and self-indulgent. Couldn’t wait to remove it from the TIVO!!!! ABC should be apologizing but then they allowed it to air so doubt they’d have the
good sense to made amends for their huge error in judgement. AL is talented but the AMA lack-luster sex pot performance was a huge disappointment.

You people crack me up!  The prudishness when there's man-on-man stuff going on, but Rihanna, who just got nearly beat to death in real life, stretched out naked on a bondage table is family entertainment??!  JUST STOP.  Let's talk about reality.  Adam had too much choreography to sing as well as he is able.  The choreography was not strong.  He had too many clothes on.  First time out the gate post-Idol.  Figuring out what he's going to be about as an music star, and surely influenced by many powerful people, each with a well-intentioned opinion.  Give him a minute to find his way.  His CD is the bomb, by the way, so don't get it twisted.

Here's the thing, Adam Lambert has stated in interviews that he doesn't want his music to be about his sexuality or his sexuality to be the main focus.  Last nights performance kind of negated all his previous statements.  I want to listen to him for his amazing vocal talent. Keep that other stuff in the bedroom for crying out loud.  It matters not to me that he is gay, I don't care. I don't want to see it.  I felt the same way with Madonna and Britney Spears.  I believe if your talent is good enough you shouldn't have to fall back on shock value.  I did lose some respect for him considering he kind of turned out to be a hypocrite when it came to the "sexuality vs. music", but I lost a lot more respect for ABC for ever allowing that to air in the first place.  Having said all that, I hope he has a great career.  I'll just pass on this first CD.

What a disgusting performance by a no-talent person. He wasn't good on American Idol and he never will be an artist or performer. This Shock treatment performance is a pitiful attempt to get us to remember who he is. Who really cares? Let's quit talking about him and maybe he will go away. We can only hope. And a p.s. from my gay friends. They also thought he was disgusting and said he is the type that makes gay people have trouble being accepted. No Votes from the Gay Community Adam. Please go Away.

I really am a fan of Adam Lambert.  During the performance on Sunday,he jumped and rolled around on the stage, he flaunted his sexuality and he didn't sing well.  It wasn't pretty.  ADAM OH ADAM, WHY?  It was a bad choice for your first BIG performance after IDOL.  Maybe that's what you wanted.  What a waste of beautiful talent.

Well I'm in the UK and I loved it.  What century are you haters living in?  As for the person stating that "pushing this sexual crap" is the reason for teenage pragnancy, I think you might find that promiscuity due to having prudish parents who don't educate their children regading sex is more the case.  Leave Adam out of that argument, he just wants to entertain and he did.  If you don't like it go buy Kris Allen's CD that should appeal to middle America.
