Chaz Bono on Good Morning America
Cher and Sonny Bono's daughter-turned-son Chaz Bono was on Good Morning America Thursday where he opened up about his new life as a man.
"I need to finally be who I am," Chaz tells GMA correspondent Chris Cuomo. "It's the best decision I've ever made ... I feel great."
"I feel so much more comfortable than I've ever been," Chaz said. "I'm living the life that I always wanted to live now."
Chaz, 40, believes gender is "what's between your ears, not what's between your legs." "As I child, I felt like a boy. My friends were boys and in school, I related to boys. If a game broke out [with] girls against the boys, I was always with the boys," he said.
Chaz is now eight months into a years-long process.
