Three freshmen Tennessee football players were arrested early Thursday morning in Knoxville on charges of attempted armed robbery.

Janzen Jackson, Michael Edwards and Nu'Keese Richardson, all 18, were charged after an armed robbery attempt outside a convenience store near Tennessee's campus.

The victims told police they were sitting in their parked vehicle when two males dressed in hooded jackets approached, opened the driver's door and demanded, "Give us everything you've got."

A woman named Marie Montmarquet, 22, alleged to have been driving a car with the three players as passengers, was also arrested. Police found a pot grinder and pot in her jacket.
