That was an amazing CMA show last night!  Taylor Swift was awesome!  And I thought it was so sweet to see Faith Hill and Tim McGraw up there with her... it looked like Faith was getting choked up, so sweet.

why was it called the "country music awards? i only heard 4 real country songs last night, and only one got an award. maybe there should be 2 shows. traditional country and this crap these wanna be,so called "country" performers,who are new country. swift is ugly,inamature and can't sing. an any of you so called country music lovers who got off when she threw that chair,be proud. this is your country music. and underwood, who will never out due madonna,try's to bring the madonna thing into your country music. be proud. it's your country music. this is not country music.

i agree with terry,,,, country has changed and not for the better.when these young girls can "bring it" like reba,dolly,tammy,etc...then they can say they are country.
and what about brad paisley trying to "rock out". such crap...wasted my everning  thats 3 hours i wont get back....makes you wonder why there are so many of the older/better country stars not doing the show anymore...hummmmm

I agree with Terry and Debby, excep Taylor is no ugly.  She is a new style rapper, more talking than actual singing. As for her winning the CMA entertainer of the year it is strickly an advertisement gimick for country music to attract new teen listners.  She is the country music Hannah Montana.  Talented, yes, but not to the caliber of the other nominees.

Taylor Swift's dad has been paying her way since they moved to Nashville.  Granted, she seems to be a good song writer but face it:  The girl can't sing!!  An award for vocalist of the year should go to someone who CAN SING.  The only answer to what is happening is her folks have to be paying for Nashville to give her these honors.  Politics really do exist everywhere, even in the entertainment business!

I agree country isn't country anymore..I loved listening to Barbara Mandrel and singing "Sleeping single in a double bed"  Listening to George Strait..Reba...the Judds..Now this is Country!!!  Please bring it back!!  Taylor can't sing!!!

This years CMA's seemed to be all about Taylor making fun of the Kanye situation everything revolved around her.This CMA Awards should have been focused on Brooks and Dunn's final CMA preformance and Tim Mcgraw's and Faith Hill's  return not all about Taylor. You can agree with me or not but thats just what i think.
