Shay Sorrells 'Biggest Loser' Photos, Jay Leno VIDEO
Shay Sorrells and Daniel Wright were eliminated from The Biggest Loser on Tuesday, November 10.
First to go was Daniel, a two-time contestant, who lost only 5 pounds this week.
Shay Sorrells, the show's heaviest contestant ever, lost 17 pounds and set a record for being the first woman to lose an amazing 100 pounds in nine weeks.
However it wasn't enough to keep her in the competition.
Shay, who walked onto the ranch at 5 foot 8 and 476 pounds was eliminated after falling below the yellow line with Amanda.
The 30-year-old social worker from Newport Beach grew up homeless, with a drug-addicted mother, and turned to food for comfort. She was in a foster care from age 5 to 18. She was wearing women's plus-size clothing by the time she was 10. Her mother was 300-plus lbs., 48-year-old, when she died three years ago. Shay says, her mother's death was the turning point.
