Steve Phillips suspended, sued for divorce by his wife Marni Phillips

ESPN analyst Steve Phillips had an affair with assistant Brooke Hundley (photo above), who, after being dumped, went insane and started taunting Steve's wife Marni Phillips with phone calls and a letter bragging about her sexual encounters with Phillips.

The former New York Mets general manager confessed to his wife and local cops that he had slept with 22-year-old production assistant Brooke Hundley several times this past summer.

However, the affair turned into Fatal Attraction Reloaded when Phillips ended the relationship. The jilted young woman repeatedly phoned Phillips' wife, Marni, saying, "We both can't have him!" the police report claims.

Even more disturbing, Hundley posed as a high-school classmate to contact Phillips' 16-year-old son and asked him inappropriate questions about his parents.

"She asked inappropriate questions about my parents, such as: Do they sleep in the same bed? Do you think they will be getting a divorce? Do they fight a lot?" the boy told cops. (Read the full statement at NYPost).

"I have extreme concerns about the health and safety of my kids and myself," Steve Phillips said in a police statement, adding that the woman became "obsessive and delusional" after he dumped her.

Hundley reportedly crashed her car while speeding away from the Phillips' home after leaving the letter detailing their affair. Check out Hundley's letter to Marni Phillips below.

Phillips - who admitted having multiple affairs with women while working for the Mets - is now being sued for divorce by his 40-year-old wife, the mother of his four sons. Phillips deeded the family's five-bedroom, multimillion-dollar Wilton home to her two months ago.
