7-foot-long Dog Boomer (Photo) May Be World's Tallest Dog

Photo: 7-foot-long Dog Boomer
Boomer, a 180-pound Landseer Newfoundland dog, can drink from the kitchen faucet keeping all four paws on the floor - this should give you some idea on just how massive Boomer is!
The 3-year-old pooch measures 3 feet at the shoulders and an impressive 7-foot from nose to tail.
Boomer can look into a car window eye to eye with a driver. A 20-pound bag of dry dog food lasts a couple of weeks.
Caryn Weber, the owner thinks she may have the world's tallest living dog and she plans to send Boomer's measurements to Guinness World Records.
The most recent title holder, Gibson (photo below), a Great Dane was a nearly 4-foot-tall that died last summer.
Tell us, would you want a pet as big as Boomer?

I have 4 English Mastiff's and a Yellow Lab( that was rescued ). The Lab has to be generally one
of the greatest breeds for a family. The Mastiffs are Wonderful, however they do bond for life
with humans. So if you want one make sure you plan on having them the next 10 years. If you have
a circumstance where you can no longer keep them, you must aid the dog with being around for at least several months to get the dog accustomed to new owners and surroundings.
While you would not put a dogs life over a human life, we have to remember they can not fend
for themselves in our world and so it is important that we think carefully before we buy on
impulse!
