Nicole Richie in Car Crash, Paparazzo Arrested

Nicole Richie was hurt in a traffic accident yesterday, after her car got rear-ended by a paparazzo in Beverly Hills.

The reality star was driving a Land Rover when a paparazzo, who was driving without a license, hit her vehicle, police said.

Richie is seeking medical treatment following the accident.

"She complained of pain," Police said, adding that Nicole Richie refused medical care at the scene but is "going to seek her own medical treatment."

According to a witness, the 28-year-old mother of two went to L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with her mother to be treated for minor injuries. The paparazzo from Burbank, CA has been arrested for driving without a license.

An unnamed adult was a passenger in Richie's car. Luckily her two children - Harlow, 20 months, and Sparrow, born Sept. 9 - were not in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

Richie gave birth to her second child, Sparrow James Midnight Madden last month. She is married to Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden. Check out photos of Nicole Richie and daughter Harlow in our gallery.
