Sex Scandal : David Letterman Confession Video

During Thursday's taping of his late night talk show, David Letterman shocked fans by revealing that he has been the victim of an extortion plot over sexual relationships he had with female members of his staff.

He said someone demanded $2 million from him three weeks ago to keep quiet about various sexual liaisons he had with his female employees.

Letterman told his audience:

"This morning, I did something I've never done in my life," Letterman, 62, told his audience. "I had to go downtown and testify before a grand jury."

In his testimony he acknowledged his sexual relations.

"My response to that is, yes I have. Would it be embarrassing if it were made public? Perhaps it would," said Letterman. "I feel like I need to protect these people - I need to certainly protect my family."

Letterman married longtime girlfriend Regina Lasko in March. They have a son, Harry, who turns 6 next month.

David Letterman is a scumbag in addition to being half as funny as Jay Leno...NBC made a great decision in hiring Leno over Letterman and made a stupid decision to allow that hack O'Brien to take his place
