Please go get the November issue of Glamour magazine! There is a beautiful picture of 7 plus size models nude. Legendary super model Beverly Johnson's daughter Anansa Sims is featured in the picture. She is a size 12-14 and gorgeous! Her mother blazed trails in the 70's as the first African American on the cover of Vogue and now her daughter is blazing a new trail representing normal size women! Bravo!!

It's not the death of a modelling career to gain weight!  There's a whole website called RunwayRevolution.com that shows only models over a size 10, and it's packed with post after post of beautiful images.  Every model, regardless of size can achieve amazing work  when they are given the opportunity, and it's interesting to see just how much high-quality work exists outside of the narrow view of the weight/body/celebrity-obsessed US media. There's whole campaigns, runway and music videos and interviews showing a wide variety of sizes and shapes.  If you know of someone struggling with their body, who needs to see proof to believe that skinny =/= beauty, then send them there. They'll thank you for it!
