Sesame Street will have a special guest to kick off its 40th anniversary on Nov. 10.

First Lady Michelle Obama, will appear on the children's TV show encouraging children to plant gardens and eat healthy food.

Michelle Obama will show children how to plant tomato, cucumber and lettuce seeds.

"All these seeds need to grow are sun, soil and water," Mrs O, who is planting a fruit and vegetable garden on the grounds of the White House, said during her appearance. "If you eat these healthy foods, you're going to grow up to be big and strong, like me. I know you're going to like these vegetables, because in addition to being healthy, they really taste great!"

Back in May, Mrs O taped a Public Service Announcement with Elmo as part of Sesame Workshop's Healthy Habits For Life initiative. She and her pal Elmo talked about eating right, exercising regularly and being a healthy and positive role model for children. Check out the Sesame Street PSA.

Happy B-Day Sesame Street... I hope they don't start changing the basic elements that have made the show work so well for all these years
