Tavi Gevinson Photos : 13-yr-old Style Rookie Blogger

Tavi Gevinson, a 13-year-old fashion blogger from Chicago has captured the attention of the fashion world with her one-of-its-kind blog Style Rookie.
An eighth-grader, Tavi has an impressive 4 million followers on her blog where she writes about her love of fashion and posts photos of herself.
Tavi describes herself on her blog as a "tiny 13 year old dork that sits inside all day wearing awkward jackets and pretty hats."

She was invited as a special guest to this season's biggest fashion shows including the recently held New York Fashion Week and shared the front row with the likes of Maria Cornejo, Marc Jacobs, Yohji Yamamoto and Alexander Wang.
Check out her blog Style Rookie where she features analysis of magazines and photographs of her daily outfits, funny self-made videos, personal rambles.
She may be a little precocious, but the kid does have some major style. Check out her photos below.

Good Lord... she looks like a 5yr old kid who picked out some items from the garbage can and playing dress up.
Go upstairs and change, Kid!

She's adorable and a talented little genious. I love that she has the courage to express herself with unseen, one of a kind, original fashion.
Come on people, try to remember when you had an open mind.....

My thoughts exactly! It looks like she took the box of garage sale leftovers that was meant for the Goodwill store, and put everything on. 'Fashionista'?! Seriously?! Wow.

Please, people. Do you really think she cares what you all think? She's doing what comes naturally to her. I'm with MNGypsy and think kids should always be encouraged to follow their dreams

I am shocked at how many adults are so critical and mean towards this kid. I have seen lots of posts on the net now and most comments are so mean! Are you guys jealous of her, that maybe you had dreams that you never pursued and now this kid is making hers come true? Or maybe your kids don't have the same ambition and drive to stand out and be something? I mean, for crying out loud! This is a kid we are talking about here! If she didn't have a sense of fashion then why would so many people in the fashion industry be paying so much attention to her? Why is everyone being to critical of her instead of praising her for being herself? Too many youth just want to blend in for fear of being teased by the peers. Here we have a young girl who refuses to give into that pressure and she gets critized for it. Sheesh!

What horrible dress for a cute little girl. If this is what the fashion industry finds creative, they all need help.
Seriously.
