Man loses daughter in card game (Photo & Video)

A dissolute father from West Bengal in eastern India lost his teenage daughter in a card game after putting her up as a stake instead of cash.

After losing all of his money, Ismail Sheikh offered his opponent his 18-year-old daughter as a final bet.

When he lost the game, the winner turned up to claim his winning and dragged his daughter out of the village. The neighbors in her village had to rescue her.

The girl is traumatized and has isolated herself at home, the neighbors report. According to family members, Sheikh is a "compulsive gambler with a drinking problem."

Disgusting!
Unfortunately, this is not the only case where a man used his daughter as a bet. This is a common practice among Muslims. There are many such instances in Pakistan where a Muslim man uses his wife/wives as a bet in poker game.
