Neil Patrick Harris Emmy Opening "Put Down That Remote" Video

The 61st Primetime Emmy Awards were hosted by Neil Patrick Harris at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday.

"How I Met Your Mother" star kicked off the night's festivities with a Broadway number "Put Down That Remote." His performance included a shout out to several celebities sitting as audience.

The versatile performer was pretty entertaining and managed to keep things interesting with his constant jokes throughout the night.

NPH is the best.  He's done great with his career.  His role in Escape from Guantanamo was classic.
