Tom DeLay Kathy Ireland 'Dancing With the Stars' Injury

Former house majority leader Tom DeLay hasn't even hit the "Dancing With the Stars" ballroom, but he's already been injured.

The 62-year-old Republican, who has been paired with professional Cheryl Burke, was injured during a rehearsal. He posted a message to Twitter that read, "Old age is catching up to me. May have a stress fracture in my foot. No worries, it'll take more than that to keep me off the dance floor."

But a short while later, he revealed the injury wasn't as severe as he first thought.

"No stress fracture! It is a pre-stress fracture. I live for another day," he tweeted.

Just one day after DeLay revealed he has a "pre-stress fracture," one-time model Kathy Ireland has announced she received seven stitches.

But Ireland wasn't on the dance floor when she hurt herself. While surfing with her son Erik, a wave caused her board to flip up against the side of her leg, causing the deep gash.

According to reports, DeLay and Ireland's plans to compete on the ballroom floor are still on track.

The new season of "Dancing With the Stars" debuts on Monday, September 21. Any early favorites?

So, what else isa new for delay? He was injured long before he attempted to dance. What goes around, comes around
