Kevin is a down to earth person. He is in need of some vocal training. Sharon Osbourne put it right. He is an icon. Let's not forget that Bob Dylan can't sing, Johnnt Cash was no Pavoratti but they made it just the same. I hope and pray that Barbara Padilla makes it in her world. She is a strong and beautiful woman. God Bless them both.

I was never a fan of America's Got Talent, however, after seeing Kevin Skinner's first performance, I was completely captivated and praying for him to win. So, congrats on your choice America! People who criticize his singing just don't appreciate the power of his simple yet beautiful style...you either "get it" or you don't.  In this world full of high tech and over zealous performances (such as many of the others on AGT), it is refreshing to see someone with a pure and golden voice.  He only needs himself and a guitar to melt hearts.  How many other singers can say that these days?  God Bless you Kevin.
