Paula Abdul began her hosting stint on VH1 Divas last night by mocking her American Idol replacement, Ellen DeGeneres - and I have to admit, Abdul did a knock-out job mimicking Ellen.

Sporting a token Ellen pantsuit along with a blonde wig, Abdul danced her way into her VH1 Divas introduction and joked, "Why are you all staring at me? Can't a girl try out for a new job?"

On a more serious note, Abdul said, "All kidding aside, [I have] nothing but love for Ellen, and I wish you the best of luck and congratulations on your new gig."

I really have fun of the show. The lady is great. Love both of them. Ellen and Abdul are both terrific.
