Jim Carrey and Jenny McCartney Kinda Married

Jim Carrey and his longtime girlfriend Jenny McCarthy reportedly held a commitment ceremony with family and friends in Malibu over the weekend where they promised to be together forever.

A source tells National Enquirer : "The vows basically said that they would 'be forever in love' with one another and that they would always be together. For the two of them, it was as good as a marriage ceremony."

After the ceremony Jim and Jenny went to Las Vegas for their own version of a honeymoon.

"They stayed at the Fantasy Tower in a luxury Sky Villa suite. When they weren't kissing and cuddling, the two of them played Texas hold 'em."

The couple have been dating since 2005. Jim had previously said that a legal marriage to Jenny would "ruin" their relationship.

The source adds, "He [Jim] insists that he and Jenny are incredibly happy together, and they don't want to jinx things by tieing the knot. Jim says he doesn't need a legal ceremony or a piece of paper, and Jenny feels the same."

They may not be married legally, but Jim and Jenny make a great couple and we couldn't be happier for them. Congrats to the couple!
