Kevin Jonas is the latest celebrity to fall victim to death rumors.

The rumor that "Kevin Jonas was found dead earlier today" took over the internet Tuesday. Giving the rumor a touch of credibility, it (anvilmediainc ) cited New York Times as the source of the news.

"'Jonas was found dead after swerving into a tree during a flash flood,' officials said earlier today, but they were unable to divulge any further information."
-New York Times

Not only is the rumor false, the attribution of the story to New York Times is also false.

Kevin Jonas is NOT dead!

The Jonas dead rumor comes on the heels of several other fake death reports surrounding celebrities in recent months, including Matt Damon, Emma Watson and Shawn Johnson.
