MTV Video Music Awards 2009 Winners, Photos

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards were held at New York City's Radio City Music Hall on Sunday.

Kicking off the show, Madonna gave a heartwarming tribute to Michael Jackson that was followed by a performance by Janet Jackson, Kanye West stole the show when he literally stole the mic from Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech.

The night featured performance from Lady Gaga, another from Taylor Swift plus appearances from Eminem, Pete Wentz, Justin Bieber, Jack Black, Shakira, "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner and Kristin Cavallari. Jay-Z also showed up for a duet with Alicia Keys.
